Let Your Light Shine

Since 1884, we have upheld a proud tradition of academic excellence, supported by an extensive range of sport and cocurricular opportunities. Redlands students graduate as well-rounded, confident and compassionate young adults, ready to make a natural transition to life after school and a positive contribution to our world.

Our extensive range of programs – academic, sports, creative, outdoor education, service – gives students the opportunity to learn, to achieve and to develop their unique skills and talents.

Redlands offers a rich and balanced education program aimed at developing well-rounded, confident and compassionate young adults who are encouraged to let their lights shine brightly – at school and beyond.

World Ready

A Redlands education expands students’ horizons and develops a global mindset. Complemented by an extensive range of leadership and service opportunities, it ensures students are well-prepared to make a positive contribution to our world in their future lives and careers.

Outstanding Academic Program

Our world class learning program is underpinned by the Redlands Learning Platform. Based on two world recognised learning frameworks, this school-wide 21st Century approach to teaching and learning develops skills of deep understanding and complex reasoning and effective habits of mind, enabling students to apply their knowledge to solving real life problems.

Redlands has offered the International Baccalaureate for more than 30 years, longer than any other school in NSW. Today, over 160 Redlands students are enrolled in the IB Diploma, studying an extensive range of subjects with the guidance of specialist IB teachers.

This choice of HSC or IB offers students the flexibility to develop their own individual pathway to academic success.

In the 2022 HSC and IB exam results at Redlands, 22 students achieved an ATAR of 99 or more, including two perfect 99.95 scores. 30 students achieved an ATAR of 98 or more, 48 students achieved an ATAR of 95 or more and 68 students achieved an ATAR of 90 or more.
