Arden's Pre-School/Junior Campus is located in leafy green Beecroft

Arden is a vibrant, welcoming Christian co-educational school providing a positive learning and caring environment. Centred on the Christian faith and finding joy in God, students are provided with the skills to build an understanding of self, develop relationship skills, learn how to make responsible decisions, and hone their social awareness.

Our students display character, a spirit of kindness, generosity, tolerance, empathy, and integrity and have been nurtured to positively impact the world in which they live and work through actively seeking to serve and contribute to their local and global communities.

An appreciation of the joy and the adventure of learning is also fostered. Arden is a school where growth meets joy.

Facilities

The Arden Junior Campus is a charming blend of Federation-style heritage buildings and inviting classrooms. The campus also has a dedicated computer lab, visual arts space, music centre, multi-purpose court and community garden.

As soon as you step on the grounds of the campus there is vibrancy and a sense of community and care. Large trees shade the many outdoor areas where students enjoy playing games at recess and lunch, expanding their imagination, learning social skills and building friendships that often last a lifetime.

Our friendly learning community creates an environment where girls and boys are well known and well cared for and feel safe to explore and learn new things.

Before and after school services, as well as vacation care, are offered at the Junior Campus in Beecroft.

Welfare and Personal Development

Everything we do at Arden is centred around our Christian faith, and we strive to model the care and servant-hearted attitude of Christ. The School Values of Love, Hope, Courage, Compassion, Respect and Service are embedded in the program, communicated in the teacher/student relationships and reflected in the teaching of pastoral matters at weekly Chapel services.

Arden is a school which cares well for its students. This commitment to know each student well is achieved through close relationships between our passionate teachers who not only place an emphasis on input and direction, but also on facilitation and helping students build the skills to learn how to learn.

There is an active Student Representative Council and leadership opportunities and training are provided from Year 5.

Arden's Pre-School

Our Pre-School classrooms and purpose-built outdoor play area encourages interaction, stimulates exploration and fosters cooperation as the children learn through play.

Arden Pre-school offers an engaging pre-school program for three and four year old girls and boys, providing the ideal preparation for entry into Kindergarten. The Pre-school program focuses on active learning using the children’s natural curiosity to investigate and discover through unstructured and guided experiences that promote social skills and emotional training, as well as physical and cognitive development.

With the Arden Pre-school located on the Junior Campus at Beecroft, there are many opportunities to enhance the transition to formal schooling.
