Welcome to Santa Sabina College

Santa Sabina College, established in 1894, is an independent Catholic school for girls P-12, boys P-4, in the Dominican tradition.

Our Mission

Santa Sabina College, a Catholic school in the Dominican tradition, educates students to achieve personal excellence, to act with justice and compassion, and to embrace the future with an optimistic global vision.

Our Campuses

Our Primary campus is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program and its model of Inquiry is at the heart of the College’s approach to teaching and learning P-12. As a community of discerning scholars we know all of our students and how they learn.

Co-curricular Life

Ideally located in Sydney’s dynamic Inner West, Santa Sabina embraces the diverse and varied backgrounds of our students and offers an exciting range of co-curricular activities. Varied co-curricular activities allow students to pursue their individual interests and include over 20 sports, music and drama ensembles, public speaking and debating, and the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme. Santa Sabina is an outward looking school with extensive music performance opportunities at the College, in the community and at professional venues.

Global Education

Opportunities for overseas travel and immersion experiences to South Africa, the Solomon Islands and Central Australia provide rich global education experiences for the students of Santa Sabina College. The College's Service to Community program and social justice initiatives encourage an awareness of students' gifts and their responsibilities as advocates for justice and for those who are marginalised or voiceless.

Resources

Santa Sabina College is extremely well resourced with extensive and beautiful grounds, a pool, courts and ovals. A technology-rich learning environment is provided for students from Prep to Year 12.

Santa Sabina College are fortunate to enjoy the support of very involved Parents & Friends' and Ex-Students' Associations, as well as the participation of the Dominican Sisters in the College community.

In addition to Mary Bailey House, a work-based 40 place community childcare centre catering for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, Out Of School Hours Centre, (OOSH) is located on the Primary Campus, providing Out of School Hours Care from 7.00 - 8.30 am and 3.15 - 6.00pm on school days, and Vacation Care from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm during holidays and on pupil-free days.
