“Faith in the Future”, our college motto, depicts the heart of our college and our educational philosophy.
With a focus on excellence in teaching and learning, our desire is to create a culture of highly engaged, purposeful learning where education is enjoyable and where students develop a thirst and the skills for life-long learning.
Our passionate teachers embody an authentic Christian faith to our students and work collaboratively as a pivotal, dedicated part of your child’s life. Working in Professional Learning teams, teachers are able to work to their strengths. Teachers overlay explicit instruction with inquiry based learning in the context of real life tasks.
Students have a balanced use of technology to support their learning, enhancing their information and communication technology skills and awareness of the ethical responsibilities that go with digital citizenship.
Teaching, learning and the educational experiences of students are intentionally planned and followed to support students’ continued learning and development as young men and women of character throughout their school years. This takes place in a rich curriculum, enhanced by the peaceful bush setting of the College.

In our Early Learning Centre, we embrace the opportunity to nurture and develop the students we’ve been entrusted with. We focus on providing them with opportunities to engage in experiences that enhance their natural desire for learning through fun and adventurous activities. The newly extended nature play based facilities support our aim to develop a sense of curiosity and wonder about their world, and develop the skills they need to explore it.
The investment in the early years of your child’s education is the most valuable investment you can make over the course of a child’s life. Our early years program focusses on sequenced learning, teacher collaboration with student progress and early intervention. Children are encouraged to foster positive relationships with their peers and teachers, and understand how precious they are to God and us. We build a strong foundation from which children can grow to become confident and successful students. |

The secondary school learning program continues the partnership with parents to support students in their transition from childhood to adulthood. Through the adolescent learning phase, we encourage students to make choices about their futures, and to voice their preferences through reasoned and justified decision-making.
Our purposefully built new secondary campus provides open spaces in a beautiful creative learning environment on grounds that connect students to nature. Built on 110 acres of beautiful hills bush land, the Secondary Campus provides students with rich outdoor experiences and an appreciation of their natural environment.
Our Senior Secondary program for Years 10-12 caters to all student learning directions including ATAR courses, General courses, Vocational Education and Training or Trade Training with equal respect for the pathways students choose. Our perspective on Senior Secondary learning is to provide students with capabilities and resources for well into their future. |

Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA) was founded over 30 years ago born from a need to provide balanced, Christian education that would nurture and develop children’s spiritual, academic, emotional, creative and physical needs.
Today, our Association of seven existing schools work closely together towards achieving our vision of being leaders of effective Christian Education in WA, such that we influence the next generation of children globally.

When stepping onto our campus, the first thing you will notice is the joy at our College. We are grateful for this, as we know that children learn best in an environment where they feel confident, happy and safe.
It is a privilege for us to partner with you in the venture of educating and raising your child. When you join Mundaring Christian College, you enter into a dynamic school community. A place where you and your child have a voice and where we work together in laying the foundations for a life well-lived.
Our purpose is to create life-long learners. Encouraging a love of life and learning and preparing your child, not for the past we’re familiar with, but for the future they are going to be living. A future that is vastly different to today.
At Mundaring Christian College, we instil creativity as a life skill, vital to successful relationships and employment. At the secondary school this includes teaching a sense of artisanship where children design and construct works of quality and value.
We understand the world is rapidly changing and that the capacity to meet change effectively relies on having a solid character. We help your child develop personal discipline, strength, resilience and rigour. This not about telling them, but rather exposing them to diverse opportunities for experiencing character. We provide a culture where academic development can flourish in a context of corresponding social and emotional growth.
Our college is entering an exciting new phase of being a two-campus college. Your child can now begin and culminate their education at Mundaring Christian College, knowing that when they leave as well rounded young adults, they will have a clear appreciation of the fact that they are here for the good of others, empowered to make a difference in our world.
We are proud of our students.
