EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION

Hume Anglican Grammar is in its fourth year of providing affordable independent education to the growing Craigieburn and regional communities. The school was commenced on the vision of the Parish of Hume under the aegis of the Anglican Diocese Schools Commission to provide a safe and secure learning environment based on Christian principles and values. We have an open enrolment policy and a wide range of cultural and faith backgrounds are represented in our school. We have grown rapidly to our current enrolment of 500 children, Prep to Year 11 and will extend to Year 12 in 2012.

CURRICULUM

Primary Schooling at Hume Grammar is joyful and fun! In their learning programs children are enabled to achieve a broad range of essential academic and practical skills, and values that equip them to be able love and serve others are constantly modelled, nurtured and encouraged.

The Middle Years (Years 5-9) provide a vibrant, challenging and adolescent specific integral curriculum assisting students to make the transition from primary school to secondary school.

The planned Senior School will provide a wide range of VCE subjects and students will be encouraged to attain outstanding results. An extensive VCAL program is envisaged.

SCHOLARSHIPS

We seek to provide quality Christian education to a wide range of families with fee remissions available where special needs arise.

Hume Grammar offers Scholarships to students via the Independent Schools Scholarship program. Entry levels are Year 5,7,9 & 11. Details available from the website.

NURTURING ENVIRONMENT

Pastoral care and compassion for our students is at the heart of all programs. The school is a place of joy and care, discipline, hard work and direction, within small classes.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Our before and after school care program is very popular, available from 6-15 each morning and until 6-30 each evening at reasonable rates; with Commonwealth subsidies available on a means test.
