The vision of Plenty Valley Christian College is a learning community with the creative and responsive mind and spirit of Christ.
At Plenty Valley Christian College we are interested in the whole student, and have a desire to see them develop their God given gifts and talents in all areas. Some students are great at Maths, others friendship building, some excel at Music, Science or Sport, others have an amazing heart for the poor. We see all of these attributes, and many more, as important, and we want children to be discovering and growing their gifts and talents, ready to enter and impact their world.
How we do that at Plenty Valley is through a solid, rigorous academic foundation; we pastorally care for students, we know them and they know us; we allow as much as possible for children to play hard and play well; we move and experiment and take measured risks and sometimes fail. These are all an integral part of growth, and we value each part of the process.
Not only do we want out students to stretch and grow and take risks, we want to do that as a college and as staff as well. For this reason we will be opening our brand new Early Learning Centre in 2018, which will offer 4 year old kinder and long day care, as well as being a new facility for our Prep – 2 students. We will also be introducing a middle school model to Plenty Valley starting 2018, which will better meet the educational needs of students at their various stages of growth. We are excited by these new ventures and what they will mean for our students – after all, everything we do should be measured against the crucial question, ‘is this the best thing for the students?’
Embraced, engaged, encouraged and empowered! That’s our aim for students at Plenty Valley Christian College.
The Primary School is a place where students can explore who they are as learners; where they will be challenged and can challenge themselves, knowing that they will be nurtured and encouraged along their learning journey. Plenty Valley Christian College confidently bases all that we do on the firm foundation of the Christian faith, believing that God has lovingly created each child. Understanding that each child is unique and wonderfully made is crucial to structuring learning opportunities for all our students.
We embrace the Primary Years Program (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) as an internationally recognised education curriculum, that provides scope and opportunity for the outworking of the Christian faith. The PYP calls for students to “become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them” (www.IBO.org), and that is exactly who we want our students to be!
Our staff; expertly trained and constantly updating their knowledge, truly care that each child in our school is encouraged, nurtured and challenged. They are a team committed to providing high quality education that is rooted in their own Christian faith.
I warmly invite you to come along to Plenty Valley Christian College and begin your journey together with us.

At Plenty Valley we aim to empower young Christians to enter every positive walk of life. I believe we are here for the purpose of leading our students on a journey toward a mature Christian adulthood. The best way we can do this is to develop and hone the talents with which each student has been blessed.
A successful secondary education requires a shared understanding and commitment from students, parents and teachers. With our support, students have the best opportunity to be active participants in their own education. Along with our staff, I strongly encourage responsibility and awareness in each of our students.
Students at the College benefit from a high-level academic education guided by a Christian worldview. This provides them with a variety of options after graduation and provides a strong foundation for the rest of their lives.
I warmly welcome visitors to our College and would be delighted to share more information about our programs with you.

Plenty Valley Christian College places a high value on community. We have gone to great lengths to cultivate a sense of connectedness and nurture between families, staff and students at the college.
