The curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Music, Visual Arts, Religious and Values Education, Health and Physical Education. Mandarin Chinese is introduced at Prep and all children learn this language to Year 6. Music is a major part, with all students given the opportunity to sing, play, compose, perform and develop an appreciation for a variety of music styles. Learning Strategies staff offer additional challenge and support for exceptional students or those with learning difficulties.
Technology is fully integrated into the curriculum allowing teachers and students to work, interact and exchange information in imaginative ways. Students are often seen working together on classroom projects or researching material on the School's intranet. All Year 5 and 6 students have their own notebook computers. |
