We strive for excellence in every endeavour, aiming to maximize each student's intellectual, spiritual and physical potential as we work in partnership with students and their parents. Curriculum The learning environment is caring, structured and stimulating, catering for a range of interests and abilities. The curriculum is presented from a Christian perspective offering a comprehensive program for Prep to Year 12 and a diverse range of VCE subjects providing the basis for all tertiary pathways. An extension program is available for talented students in Years 7 to 9 and senior students in Years 10 and 11. University Enhancement programs or Vocational Education courses are also offered. The curriculum is directed towards challenging students in their thinking to become more critical, analytical, reflective and creative, encouraging self discipline and self motivation. Sports Program Flinders Christian Community College encourages all students to participate actively in a wide range of sporting activities. The sports program complements the Physical Education component of the curriculum. Training sessions are organised during lunchtimes and after school in preparation for inter school and other competitions. Music Program The Music Department at FCCC offers a creative and exciting classroom music curriculum and an extensive instrumental music and ensemble programme. We have a full-time music teacher skilled in a wide range of instruments, as well as offering private music lessons during class time. In addition, we endeavour to provide all students with the opportunity to perform in ensembles and offer public performance opportunities throughout the year to enhance students' musical experience. Standards of Conduct It is expected that each student will honestly endeavour to keep all of the College regulations and show respect for those placed in positions of authority.
