The Springfield Anglican College

Who we are

The Springfield Anglican College is a Co-educational independent Anglican school, with a strong emphasis on the holistic development of young men and women.

Underpinning this balanced approach to education is an understanding that students achieve their best when they are supported and encouraged in a safe and caring environment, where each student is given the individual attention they deserve.

The Springfield Anglican College opened its doors in 1998 with 12 students; our enrolment in 2013 stands at 850 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The College has a capped upper limit of 1,000 students Prep to Year 12.

We are located in the heart of Greater Springfield, just over 25 kilometers from the centre of Brisbane and adjacent to the Springfield train station site, due to open in November 2013. Our Senior campus is located on Springfield Greenbank Arterial; while the Primary campus is a 5minute drive from the Senior campus on Springfield College Drive.

Major developments are in construction and planned for the Middle & Senior Campus in the coming years. This year construction will begin on a new Multi-Purpose Centre, while it is planned in 2014 to commence construction of the new Creative Arts precinct and Sports change facilities. In 2015, The Springfield Anglican College will add an additional Year 7 class in line with the State Governments movement of Year 7 to High School in 2015. Planning is well underway for the construction of an additional classroom block to support this growth.
