St Andrew’s Catholic College is a place where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where new and expansive patterns of thinking are nurtured, where collective aspiration is set free and where people are continually learning how to learn together.
A successful College like St Andrew’s has, at its core, an educational philosophy that centres round the Social and Emotional Learning of each student within its care. The pillars of education clearly illustrate that there is a need to educate the student beyond the confines of a traditional classroom; rather life-long learning and an awareness of self are the tools educators now need to grasp to provide the most appropriate learning environments for students.
Inherent within this philosophy is a strong belief in the importance of individuality encompassing Catholicity and fostering preparedness for future success of the students. Educational offerings do not present only knowledge to be attained, but also values to be acquired and truths to be discovered.
