Saturday 13 August from 7.00am – 1.00pm – morning tea and lunch provided.
As advertised in the College Calendar we are seeking helpers for our annual working bee prior to the Fair. With recent construction on site, a number of tasks will need to be completed. We are seeking volunteers who can assist in some of the following areas:
• Construction of a deco path (timber edging)
• Removal of cricket nets
• Digging of long jump pit
• Mulching new and existing gardens
• Assisting with morning tea and lunch
Parents or community members who may be able to assist us through the provision of equipment such as bobcats, wheelbarrows and shovels would be much appreciated. Please call the College Office on 5466 9900 and leave your name and contact details if you believe you can assist. Thank you in anticipation of your generous involvement.

Make sure you pre-pay for unlimited ride passes and save money. We hope that you can all come along and enjoy the great country entertainment, rides and the fireworks spectacular. We take great pleasure in providing a fun and enjoyable night for our community. We can never have too many community and family supporters for our biggest event. Your contributions and suggestions are greatly appreciated and something we would love to see more of. We would also like to thank our local business community for supporting our Fair, in particular Schultes Meat Tavern, The Plainland Travel Centre (Caltex, Coffee Club, Hungry Jacks, KFC, Subway), Buhse’s Motors and Pacific Seeds who have all provided continual support and substantial contributions. Without the support of our Community, the Fair and many other events would not be possible. Thank You!

GREASE WAS THE WORD!
In July, Faith Lutheran College students left in excess of 2200 people wanting more with their amazing production of the much loved musical Grease. The strong crowds at the Laidley Cultural Centre across the four public performances were testament to the tremendous talents of the students, with many patrons clamouring to see the show multiple times. With a cast & crew of approximately 80 students, the performance quality that was delivered was well beyond their years. This was achieved through not only their individual performing talents, but perhaps even more so, by their unwavering commitment & dedication to the cause during the four month rehearsal process. Faith Lutheran College is quickly becoming a hub and school of excellence in the performing arts.
