Living Waters Lutheran School was established by the Alice Springs Lutheran Church in 1987.
It is situated at the western edge of town on the corner of Larapinta Drive and Albrecht Drive.
Living Waters is a school that keeps its eye on the future while recognising the value of tradition in an ever-changing world. It is a school where children are taught, not only to learn, but also to enjoy learning and savour it. |

At Living Waters we provide a safe, happy but quiet working environment.
The general tone in our classrooms is one of order, busyness and calmness.
Behavioural expectations are high and consistently maintained. |

It is the distinctive nature of Living Waters teachers that set the tone of the school.
Warm and supportive while maintaining high academic standards, the Living Waters teacher is fully committed to students; personal growth and achievement. |

To support family values we use the Christian Studies Curriculum Framework, taught Australia wide throughout 120 Lutheran Schools. This curriculum explores religion and spirituality, values, social justice and ethical issues and encourages and enables children to think about and respond to the realities of their world.
Our School Pastor at Living Waters regularly leads worship, is present and active in the school community and is available to support families and staff.
The Wellbeing Coordinator supports students going through loss, grief, anxiety or struggling with issues through a variety of school based programs and professional agencies. A library of resources is available for parents on a broad range of topics.
Living Waters Lutheran School has been a "KidsMatter" school since 2006. "KidsMatter" aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children, reduce mental health problems amongst children, and achieve greater support for children and families experiencing mental health difficulties.
Living Waters is proud to support Families in Christian Service in our community.
