The curriculum at MacKillop is undertaken in an environment where each person is valued and respected as an individual whose personal growth is of paramount importance.
While the standard classroom employs progressive and effective techniques to provide for mixed abilities, the College also acknowledges the specific needs of students requiring enhanced learning opportunities. Skilled teachers and assistants provide specialist support for students requiring help with basic skills and those who need to be challenged beyond the normal requirements of classroom activities.

MacKillop considers education as more encompassing than providing a sound curriculum within the classroom. With parents we strive to provide a balanced education that not only prepares students academically but also physically, socially and spiritually.
Supporting the formal curriculum, the College provides a range of co-curricula opportunities for students to further explore their interests and talents. Since co-curricula activities are usually conducted out of normal school hours, students are able to work with their peers in a less formal environment. These valuable opportunities are made possible by the generous support of teachers, parents and friends of the College. |
