TCS commenced in 1981 as a ministry of Toongabbie Baptist Church. From a small beginning as a single stream Primary Department, TCS has grown into a spacious and well resourced Kindergarten to Year 12 campus. |

Pastoral care is an important element at TCS, with each student being placed in a single-sex pastoral care group for years 9-12. Years 7 and 8 classes have home-room teachers. There is a high standard of uniform and a firm but caring discipline system. |

The school is a 10-15 minute walk from Toongabbie Railway Station and access to the school can be gained from most parts of the city. Two local bus companies run buses to the school from surrounding suburbs. |

Facilities include a Multi-Purpose Centre (auditorium with mezzanine/lecture area), Physics, Chemistry and Biology Laboratories, Computer Rooms, Music rooms, Creative Arts Rooms, Technics room, Textile & Design Room, Food Technology Room, a well resourced Library and playground areas. |
