Abbotsleigh is a Pre K to Year 12 day and Year 7-12 boarding school for girls, with a reputation for excellence for more than 120 years. It is an Independent Anglican school.
Each girl is encouraged to develop her potential in a caring Christian environment by fostering her pursuit of personal and academic excellence. Abbotsleigh has about 150 boarders from Years 7 to 12. About three quarters of our boarders come from country and regional NSW with a sprinkling of students from overseas and greater Sydney.
Our senior boarding residence, Wheeldon House, was opened in May 2008. It features 64 single bedrooms for students with an ensuite between two bedrooms. There are study nooks and warm common areas for both the Year 11s and Year 12s. |

Abbotsleigh is located on 12 hectares of land on the leafy North Shore of Sydney. The campus has a rich history as well as state of the art facilities that provide students with the best possible educational opportunities. Features of the Senior School campus include the Abbotsleigh Research Centre, Aquatic Centre, concert and assembly halls, gyms and plenty of playing fields. |
