Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College is located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, close to the heart of the city and close to the University of NSW. The College is set in beautiful grounds, with traditional buildings blending with new buildings and state of the art facilities.
Our vision is to develop girls who are confident, independent learners with a commitment to service in the wider community. The College offers girls many opportunities for personal development through a broad range of courses and extra-curricular activities. The school has an extensive pastoral care program, where students are supported and guided through their school years by teachers focused on and supportive of their goals and well-being. The school also has a College Counsellor. |

OLSH College has a very broad and rich curriculum, which encourages each student to achieve at the highest level in a full range of subjects.
There is a wide range of interesting elective subjects available to students in the Junior and Middle Years. In the Senior Years there is also an abundance of academic subjects from which to choose.
An elective Philosophy course has been designed and implemented for Years 9 and 10 students.
French, Creative Arts, Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts provide opportunities for imaginative expression through to the HSC.
As well, OLSH College offers dual accredited vocational courses such as Hospitality and Business Services.
High-achieving students are offered an extensive Gifted and Talented Programme which has been implemented by the Gifted and Talented Coordinator.
OLSH College has a highly regarded Learning Support Programme, English As A Second Language Programme, Aboriginal Education Programme and Transition Education Programme. |

Assistance is provided to students in many ways so they can reach their goals and fulfil their potential. Strategies to constantly improve student learning outcomes include a Merit Award system, a consolidated Study Skills Programme for Years 10 and 11, a motivational coach for Year 12 students and annual analysis of examination results and target setting which inform current teaching practice. Excellence in teaching has resulted in a number of staff receiving the Executive Directors Award for Teaching Excellence. |

Scholarships
Scholarships are offered each year to Year 6 students with special abilities in Dance, Drama or Music, and to Year 7 to Year 11 students who are successful all rounders.
